Altice USA, Inc., commonly known as Altice, is an American cable television provider with headquarters in New York City. It delivers pay television, Internet access, telephone services, and original television content to approximately 4.9 million residential and business customers in 21 states.

Altice has a terrible customer service, installations are delayed due to lack of appointments compliance, according to Josh at bbb.org

"The customer service I have received is easily the worst I have ever had to deal with across any company I have ever worked with. Over the course of 2 and a half weeks, I was given 5 different excuses for why the install technician couldn't come and install my internet. Five different times my appointment was rescheduled & 5 different times they blew me off. The worst part about the whole experience was that I never received a phone call from them explaining why their technician no call/no-showed to our scheduled appointment."

They pay onboarding workers less than those who work at fast food chains and they're constantly cost cutting and making the staff they have available do more than intended. "Worked for them for 11 years. Accomplished many things, held different positions there. Be weary because seeing that this is an "at will " company they will let you go over the most trivial things especially if you have tenure with them.I was let go over a joke... 11 years and they threw me away like I was trash, completely devastated me. Overall the company was ran better when they were Cablevision, once altice came in to play it went downhill. They have no loyalty to their employees.Money. Room for growth. "Poorly managed. Spending far, far too much time developing side (niche) projects and income sources than actually improving or supporting their CORE business. Purchases good companies and runs them into the ground. Telecom (intertnet, voip telephone, and cable-tv primary business) that want s to sell you business IT support, backup battery (ups) hardware, Insurance, Cellular services, Backup internet /wireless and cellular services, Advertising, Web development.. on and on.... these are business that Altice wants to break into and expand their core business. UNFORTANTELY, they are not even good at their core services! Their side hustles are even more poorly managed and implemented! EVERY single niche and side hustle has BETTER and MORE EXPERIENCED businesses as competition! Why in God\'s name would you ask Altice to provide IT support for your business... when they can\'t seem to manage their own network!? Just plain STUPID. Needs to spend their money maintaining and improving their core business. Lest the competition in the core areas overtake them. That would be a good thing, as they do not seem to have any direction or management ability. If not for near monopolization (they seem to thrive and buy systems out that are monopolized) this business model would immediately fail. This is (SEARS) going to die a slow death..... but it is going to die. "

"I have been trying to cancel this service ( which I never activated but keep on been charged for ) and it’s IMPOSSIBLE! They give you the run around with virtual or automatic response systems that keep on looping you to the same NO RESULTS RESPONSE, and if you try in line, at some point after you have been 10 minutes filling in answers to their questions, they kick you out of signing into your account, and back into answering more questions to which you have no answer because you need to get into your account in the first place. CLASS ACTION SUIT TO FOLLOW?"

"The worst cellular service I have ever had. At least six drop calls a day, no phone service in my townhouse with Wi-Fi,I really hope they get out of the business because they have no business being in it. Impossible to speak to a human being literally impossible. I had to go to an optimum cable place to get any type of help. You get what you pay for they have no towers all they do is use other services stay away!!!!"

"I ordered the phone and changed my mind due to some logistics with TMobile. I was told I would be refunded once the device is returned. It's been over 2 months since the return and no refund yet."

"If I had a way of reviewing ZERO stars I would definitely. Please stay away from Altice Mobile. I signed up for the service and after reading reviews online I tried to cancel immediately the same day and the people who made me sign for it said that they don’t deal with Altice Mobile. I tried to chat with Altice Mobile agents online but they weren’t helpful. They said that the SIM card was already sent and they charged my credit card. I spent so many hours each day for a whole week trying to get help in cancellation only to get a lady online who told me that they’ll be charging my account every month for the services I never use, I never even got the sim card that they said they sent. I’m getting desperate and frustrated about everything and they’ve already charged my card for the second time. Stay away!!!"
